Our Story
Street2Scholar (s2s) Foundation was founded in 2026 by Sara Adeniyi after a single street moment made a truth impossible to ignore: charity alone was not enough. An MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health confirmed it — lasting change needs a long-term, coordinated response to poverty, trauma and educational exclusion.
From Pastry to Purpose
In 2008, as an educator and IT professional working across Nigeria, I witnessed something I could never forget. A group of young street children - hungry, barefoot, and overlooked by the rushing crowd - passed a single small pastry between them, each child taking the tiniest bite to ensure every mouth received a piece. That image of solidarity in the face of deprivation stopped me in my tracks.
