Sharing our Triple-A Pathway at Midhurst Methodist Church

Our first presentation: sharing From Pastry to Purpose at Midhurst Methodist Church, West Sussex, UK

On Saturday 10 October 2026, we told the story of Street2Scholar Foundation in front of an audience for the very first time. And we’re so glad it was in a church.

Midhurst Methodist Church opened its doors to us at their Harvest celebration and gave us the space to share From Pastry to Purpose, and everything that has grown from it. We arrived a little nervous. We left feeling like we had been among friends.

The welcome from the church members was warm; our own family and friends came out to support us, and everyone listened with such care. We talked about why we do this: helping children who have spent their lives on the street find their way to the classroom, and beyond. We also shared our Triple-A Pathway, Achieve, Aspire and Accelerate, which walks alongside a child at every stage.

Harvest is a time for gratitude and giving, so it felt right to begin there. It was a real blessing for us as a foundation, and it gave us confidence that we’re building on solid ground.

To the minister, stewards and congregation of Midhurst Methodist Church, thank you for inviting us and for making us feel so at home. To everyone who came, asked questions, shared kind words or helped behind the scenes, thank you. None of this happens without people who care, and you showed us what that looks like.
