Trustees: Trustees provide oversight of the Foundation’s governance, finances, safeguarding, risk management and charitable purpose. They help ensure that S2S operates responsibly and remains accountable to the children, young people, partners and supporters connected to its work.

Trustee | Project Management

Lara brings project planning and coordination experience to the Board. She supports effective governance, delivery planning and organisational development as S2S builds its programme and partnerships.

• Kel Ohalem

Trustee | Safeguarding

Kel works directly with children and brings a practical, child-centred perspective to S2S’s governance. Kel supports the Foundation’s focus on safer practice, accountability and the wellbeing of children and young people.

• Hannah Omisore

Trustee | Creative Communications

Hannah brings experience in graphic design and visual communication. She supports clear, accessible and responsible communication of S2S’s purpose, programmes and learning.

• Obinna Ohalem

Trustee | Programme Development

Obinna brings programme management experience to the Board. He supports planning, coordination, implementation readiness and the development of effective monitoring and learning systems.

Board of Advisers: Advisers provide specialist knowledge and professional guidance in areas relevant to S2S’s charitable purposes. Advisers do not replace trustee oversight; their role is to inform programme design, partnerships, fundraising, education, health, finance and youth engagement.

• Sara Adeniyi

Founder

Sara founded Street2Scholar Foundation in 2026. She is an educator in Computer Science, Information Technology and Creative iMedia, and holds an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing. Sara provides strategic leadership for S2S’s education, safeguarding, technology and programme-development work.

• Walter Ernest

Partnerships and Fundraising Adviser

Walter is Chief Executive Officer of Wallet Global Limited in Abuja. He brings experience in business leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships and organisational growth. He advises S2S on partnership development, fundraising strategy and sustainable collaboration.

• Ibrahim Birma Abubakar

Health and Wellbeing Adviser

Ibrahim is a pharmacist and healthcare professional with experience in healthcare leadership and community wellbeing. He advises S2S on health education, prevention, wellbeing and referral pathways. 

• Bosede Jennifer Ayoola

Education Adviser

Bosede is Chief Executive Officer of LittleDrop Academy, FCT Abuja. She brings experience in educational leadership, curriculum development and child-centred learning. She advises S2S on learning design, education pathways and approaches that support children and young people to engage with education.

• Dr. Eseyin Johnson

Technical Adviser

Johnson provides specialist advice on technology, digital education, infrastructure, technical quality, innovation and programme implementation, supporting S2S Foundation to deliver effective and sustainable education and skills-development programmes.

• Emily Olayemi Oladipupo

Finance and Audit Adviser

Emily is a Chartered Accountant and experienced banking professional. She brings expertise in financial management, audit, risk management and corporate governance. She advises S2S on financial stewardship, internal controls, accountability and sustainable organisational growth.

• Joseph Ayoleke

Youth Engagement Adviser

Joseph is a qualified physiotherapist and Computer Science student with interests in technology, innovation and youth empowerment. He supports S2S’s youth engagement approach and contributes a young person’s perspective to digital learning, participation and innovation.

• Dr Mike Osarogie Ikponmwen

Strategic Programme Adviser

Dr Mike is a science educator and geoscientist with more than 15 years’ experience in secondary and higher education across Nigeria and the UK. His areas of expertise include Physics, AI in education, inclusive teaching and SEND support. He advises S2S on curriculum development, teacher mentoring and inclusive learning environments.

Roles We Are Seeking 

As S2S develops, we are seeking additional expertise to strengthen communications, public relations and legal governance. These positions are currently vacant and are not part of the Foundation’s appointed team.

Communications and Public Relations Adviser

To help develop S2S’s communications strategy, strengthen public engagement and communicate the Foundation’s work clearly, accurately and responsibly.

Legal and Governance Adviser

To provide legal guidance, support regulatory compliance, advise on governance and help the Board identify and manage legal risks.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

Safeguarding is central to how S2S develops its programmes, partnerships and communications. We are working to establish safer recruitment, appropriate training, clear reporting and escalation arrangements, partner due diligence, location-specific risk assessments and responsible handling of personal data.

S2S will publish more information about its safeguarding arrangements as these systems are finalised.

S2S is currently in its programme development and pilot preparation phase. Team members contribute to governance, advice and organisational development; profiles should not be interpreted as evidence of completed programme impact or beneficiary outcomes.
